Sara Grace Orth was born November 21, 1980 in Custer, South Dakota. She was the daughter of Gary and Mary (Bland) Orth. Sara grew up in Custer and Aberdeen. She graduated from high school in Aberdeen in 1999. She studied Pharmacology at Western Dakota Tech in Rapid City and shorty after settled in Belle Fourche where she raised her two boys, Mason and Riley. In 2013 they moved to Mountain View Wyoming where they lived for about ten years. In 2021, Sara moved to Box Elder and for the past year she enjoyed living in Harding County with Tyler Hett, on his ranch. Sara was always thankful for her years working at the Belle Fourche Vet Clinic, the Animal Clinic of Rapid City, and especially Top Performance Equine Sports Therapy in Piedmont. Those places of employment helped develop her as a horse trainer, and with her love for animals, those places of employment were perfect for her. Sara’s life was consumed with a love for animals and it began at a very young age when she got her first horse. She rescued and cared for all kinds of animals, and she really loved horses and the hours she spent training them.
Sara was beautiful on the inside as much as she was on the outside. She will be remembered for the goofy sense of humor and how she always had a smile on her face. She loved the ranch life, hunting, being outdoors, and life in the country. She will be greatly missed by so many.
