Patricia Jean Callahan was born August 10, 1935 in Salem, Ohio, where she grew up and attended school. Short after graduating from high school she moved to Colorado where she worked at the Colorado State University for the Vice President of Language Studies. In 1967 she moved to Whitewood where she began Ponderosa Pines Real Estate Company. She owned and operated this company for several years and she always treated her clients well. Through the process of selling his home, Don met Pat in 1985. They were married August 20, 1988. Some time after their marriage they moved to Spearfish where they lived for 8 years, before moving to Belle Fourche, shortly after Don’s retirement.
Patricia was a loving wife and friend. She loved her cat “Kiki”, and she was a talented artist. She was a sculpture artist and enjoyed creating many things. She was smart, kind, patient, and she had an independent spirit about her. Her and Don were a perfect match.
Patricia is survived by her husband of many years, Don of Belle Fourche. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cindy; and brothers, Jim and Jerry Callahan.
