Lyman Dean Cramer was born March 25, 1938 in LaMars, Iowa. He was the son of Ben and Rose (Dirks) Cramer. Lyman grew up on a family farm near LaMars. For six years, he served his country in the U.S. Navy. Following his service, he began a career in trucking and because he enjoyed it so much, he would never retire. Following their marriage Lyman continued trucking and it would take the family to several towns including Kennebec, Colony WY, and Belle Fourche. The couple would later divorce and in 2001 Lyman was united in marriage to Linda Wandler, in Belle Fourche. Together they enjoyed several years of marriage that included traveling around the world, and loving life with each other.
Lyman had trucking in his blood, he loved it so much. For the past 10 years he had been trucking for Sacrison Paving. He was a hard-working man and he loved his family very much. He was kind, generous, loving, and he was always there for his family. He will be missed greatly by all of them.
