Jason Robb

Jason Scott Robb was born May 4, 1978 in Spearfish South Dakota. In 1996 he graduated from Belle Fourche High School. Following his graduation he attended the University of Colorado in Denver where he received a degree in English Literature and Film in 2007. For the past few years, Jason has lived in Austin, Texas where he worked as a Media Director. Jason died at his home in Austin, Texas on October 11, 2010. Jason was a wonderful son and an amazing and loving brother and uncle. He was a wonderful friend to all who knew him, and he was amazingly gifted in his passions in life. His passions included photography, writing, art, starbucks, hiking, the outdoors, the theatre, and books. There will never be enough words to describe him or how much he will be missed and loved by all. Jason is survived by his father, John Robb of Belle Fourche; mother, Daria (Keith) Leslea-Violett of Denver CO; sister, Shanie (Nicholas) Rothman of Bluffton SC; nephew, Jaxon Rothmann of Bluffton SC; sister, Morgan Robb of Belle Fourche; brother, Tanner Robb of Sturgis; paternal grandparents, Walter and Beverly Robb of Belle Fourche; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends from Jason’s travels around the country. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Mike Peterson, and his “Nana”, Berdina Johansen. Private family services will be held at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche.
