Marjorie Telsrow age 87 of Hulett, Wyoming, died Saturday June 26, 2010 at the Dorsett Regional Senior Care Center in Spearfish. Gravesides services will be held 11am Thursday July 1, 2010 at the Durant Cemetery, in Durant, Iowa. Rev. Tom Zeleny will officiate. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are with Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Marjorie Freeman was born September 7, 1922, in Red Top, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Rufus Deloss and Lorena (Heycock) Freeman. At a young age, Marjorie moved with her family to Tipton Iowa, where she graduated from high school. While living there, Marjorie met Howard Telsrow. They were married August 29, 1941 in Waverly, Iowa and following their marriage they farmed in the Tipton Iowa area. In 1962, Howard and Marjorie moved to Hulett Wyoming where they ranched for many years. Howard died in 2004. Marjorie enjoyed hunting and fishing and the sport of baseball. She and Howard enjoyed hunting together; especially their bear hunting trip up north when they both shot a bear. Marjorie also enjoyed her Bible study group in Hulett. She loved her grandchildren very much. Marjorie is survived by her son Richard (Charlotte) Telsrow of Aladdin WY; daughters, Karen (Larry) Gage of Letts, Iowa, Deb (Dan) Odegard of Belle Fourche, Judith (Art) Wood of Edgerton WY, Barbara (John) King of Bennett, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Howard Telsrow.
