Tamara Rose Bragge

Tamara R. Bragge age 45 of Hayward, CA and formerly Belle Fourche SD, died Saturday May 29, 2010 at the Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, CA. The funeral service will be held 10:30 am Saturday June 5, 2010 at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Visitation will be 8am to 10:30am Saturday at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place in Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle Fourche. Tamara Rose Giroux was born December 5, 1964 in Rosebud, South Dakota. She was the daughter of George and Arlene (Gunhammer) Giroux. In 1983, Tamara graduated from Belle Fourche High School, and she then attended Yankton College. In 1984, she was blessed with her “angel” and the love of her life, Micki Lynn Giroux. Tamara worked most of her adult life as a caregiver and nurses aid for the Dorsett Senior Care Center in Spearfish, and also Black Hills Special Services in Belle Fourche. She was known for her kindness and compassion, and her concern for the welfare of others. In 2002, Tamara met David Bragge and they were later married in Burlingame California on February 28, 2004. Following their marriage they lived in Burlingame and Hayward, California. Tamara and David shared a special relationship and marriage. Tamara enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, traveling to local areas of California, and her visits to Yosemite National Park with her husband. She will be remembered for her infectious smile and her contagious laugh. She loved and missed her family very much. She was in constant contact with them everyday. Tamara is survived by her husband, David Bragge of Hayward CA; father, George Giroux of Belle Fourche; brothers, Darrell (Laura) Giroux of Shiprock NM, Allen (Guadalupe) Giroux of Belle Fourche, George Giroux Jr. of Rapid City; and sister, Carol King of Rosebud SD. Tamara was preceded in death by her mother, and daughter, Micki Lynn Giroux.
