Marjory M. Fox age 62 of Belle Fourche, died Tuesday December 15, 2009 at the Spearfish Regional Hospital in Spearfish. The funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday December 19th, 2009 at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche, with Rev. Gail Arnold officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7pm Friday at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills. Marjory Marilyn Speirs was born December 4, 1947 in Huron, South Dakota. She was the daughter of Henry and Grace (Stewart) Speirs. Marjory grew up and attended school in Miller, South Dakota. In 1972 she was married to Neil Fox in Lead, SD. To this union a daughter, Nicole, was born. Following their marriage they lived in South Dakota, Minnesota, and Colorado. They later divorced, and Marjory moved to the Black Hills with her daughter Nicole, in 1990. Marjory worked for some time as a bartender at the Phil Town Restaurant in Sturgis, and for area bars and restaurants. Marjory is survived by her daughter, Nicole Fox (fiance' John McCoy) of Belle Fourche; brothers, Bill (Marge) Speirs of Anthon Iowa, Jerry (Kathy) Speirs of Hill City, Dave (Carol) Speirs of Hill City; grandchildren, Justis and Hunter Quenzer, and Thomas McCoy III; and nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many “adopted” grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
