** Video Tribute Can Be Viewed Below ** Lavonne I. Lawien, age 90 of Belle Fourche, SD, died Friday, February 2, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held 10am Friday, February 9, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Spearfish, SD. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will take place in the Black Hills National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are with Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche, SD. Lavonne Irene Weaver was born June 25, 1927, in Dupree, South Dakota. She was the daughter of Walter and Helen (Jewett) Weaver. Lavonne was married to Derald Lawien on July 9, 1946. Lavonne is survived by her three daughters, , Linda Heavilin of Spearfish, SD; Sandra (Guy) Whitcher of Las Vegas NV; Penny Palmer of Belle Fourche, SD; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Derald Lawien; 1 grandchild, Jena Whitcher; 2 sons-in-law, Gary Heavilin, Jim Palmer; and two brothers, Lynn and Darrell Weaver.
