** VIDEO TRIBUTE CAN BE VIEWED BELOW **Michael Richardson, age 59 of Gillette WY, died Monday, September 5th, 2016 in Gillette, WY. A memorial service will be held 10:30am Friday, September 9th, 2016 at Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. There will be no visitation. Michael Shane Richardson was born June 13, 1957 in Belle Fourche. He was the son of Wesley and Evelyn (Linton) Richardson. Michael grew up in Great Falls MT and Newell. He was a 1976 graduate of Newell High School. For several years, Michael worked for the Belle Fourche Irrigation District and he built cabinets for Merillat in Rapid City. In 1991 he was united in marriage to Kim Stoner in Newell. To this union 3 children were born, and they were the love of Michael’s life: Molly, Shane, and Eric. Michael and Kim were later divorced. For the past 13 years, Michael has worked at the Black Thunder Mine in Gillette. He was a die-hard fan of the St. Louis Rams. He also was a fan of Elvis Presley and the Rapid City Rush hockey team. He was an avid softball player and he loved sports in general. He will be remembered for his boisterous personality, his sense of humor, and the great love he had for his children. He will be greatly missed. Michael is survived by his children, Molly Stoner of Denver CO, Shane Richardson of Newell, Eric Richardson of Newell; sisters, Tracy (Rod) Ingalls of Opal SD, Deb Price of Sturgis; brothers, Randy and Doug Richardson, both of Great Falls MT; and nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best friend, Delane McGillavary of Gillette, WY. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents; brother, Rick; and nephew, Ryan Ingalls.
