Dorothy Piper

Dorothy (Karinen) Piper, age 93, of Phoenix AZ, formerly of Newell, SD, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Hospice of the Valley Palliative Care Unit in Glendale, AZ. Funeral arrangements are pending with Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Dorothy is survived by sons, Robert (Claudia) Piper of Ann Arbor MI; Michael Piper of Glendale AZ; daughter-in-law, Joyce Piper of Chandler AZ; and three grandchildren: Eliana Piper, Julia Piper and Jenna Piper. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Karinen, and her son, Thomas Piper, as well as her ten siblings.
