** PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SERVICE HAS CHANGED, AND WILL BE A GRAVESIDE SERVICE AT THE CEMETERY ** Jack Sikorski, age 80 of Ekalaka MT, died Thursday October 1, 2015 in Belle Fourche SD. Graveside services will be held 11am Tuesday October 6, 2015 at the Beaver Lodge Cemetery in Ekalaka, Montana. There will be no visitation. Father Thomas Tobin will officiate. Funeral arrangements are with Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. John Patrick Sikorski was born July 10, 1935 in Baker, Montana. He was the son of Edward and Frances (Foley) Sikorski. Jack grew up on the family ranch located north of Ekalaka. On June 16, 1956 he was united in marriage to Darlene Gundlach in Ekalaka. In 1977 Jack moved to Beach, North Dakota. For 30 years, Jack worked as a “Landman”, putting together many lease packages for several land owners and oil companies. He found great success in helping land owners get full value for their mineral rights. He managed cattle operations and Jack also spent time as well in the Northwest Territories, including Yellowknife. For the past several years he has lived in Dickinson, North Dakota. Jack is survived by his sons, Patrick (Veronica) of Cedar Park TX, Mike (Sandra) of Pinedale WY, Aubrey of Seattle WA; daughters, Kimberly Lockhart of Duncan AZ, Leah (Michael) Zook of Beach ND; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and brothers, Michael (Barbara) Sikorski of CT, Thomas “Jerry” (Cathy) Sikorski of Willard MT, Timothy (Penny) Sikorski of TX. He is also survived by his half brother Peter; his half-sister, Cynthia; and his special friends, John and Susan Martin of Belle Fourche, SD.
