** VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE BY CLICKING ON WEBLINK ABOVE (Computers Only) **Shawn Dale Richardson, age 47 of Belgrade Montana, died Thursday April 9, 2015 in Lockwood, Montana. A memorial service will be held 11am Saturday April 18th, 2015 at the United Methodist Church in White River, South Dakota. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will take place in the White River Cemetery. Arrangements are with Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. Shawn Dale Richardson was born November 23, 1967 in Kadoka, South Dakota. He was the son of Dale and Beverly (Bechtold) Richardson. Shawn spent his early years with his family living on ranches around Murdo SD and Cody NE before he and his family moved to Nisland SD in 1974 where he attended elementary school. In 1983 the family moved to St. Onge SD and he graduated from Spearfish High School in 1987. Following graduation Shawn worked various jobs such as building pallets, he worked at the Hulett saw mill, he traveled the country doing osmose treating on highline poles and he traveled all over the Western US with Northstar Amusement. On June 18, 1994, Shawn was married to Connie Holland. To this union 3 children were born: Joseph, Nathan, and Lindsey. During that time they lived in Casper, Wyoming where Shawn began his career in the HVAC industry. His first job was with Commercial Refrigeration which sparked an interest in the field of Heating and Cooling. Soon after, he took time off from work to attend Western Wyoming College in Torrington WY and earned a Masters Degree in Refrigeration. He went back to work for Commercial Refrigeration and then Casper Tin Shop and eventually started his own business "Cool It Refrigeration." Shawn continued to operate his own business until he moved to Belgrade, Montana in 2012 where he went to worked for Comfort Systems throughout North Dakota, Montana and Wyoming. He was united in marriage to Heidi Glandt on May 22, 2009. Shawn and Heide bought a house in Belgrade, MT and in Shawn's free time he worked on making improvements to their acreage such as building a large garage to house his prize possessions, his cars. Shawn loved fast muscle cars, snowmobiling, boating and his dogs. He was especially fond of his bulldogs. He was a great father and he loved his children very much. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. Shawn is survived by his wife, Heidi of Belgrade MT; sons, Joseph (Aubree) of Casper WY, Nathan of Casper WY; daughter, Lindsey Richardson of Belgrade MT; parents, Dale and Beverly Richardson of St. Onge SD; step-children, Hayden and Jace Steele of Belgrade MT; brothers, Stacy (Sherri) of Post Falls Idaho, James (Laurie) of Belle Fourche SD; sister, Kristi (Neal) McCoy of Belle Fourche; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
