** Video Tribute Can Be Viewed By Clicking Weblink Above (Computers Only) ** Victor Alexander Long, age 23, of Belle Fourche, SD died Sunday, February 15th, 2015 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 am Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Interment will take place at a later date in Mount Pleasant, SC. Victor was born July 15th, 1991 in Russia, and he grew up in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina for most of his life. He loved the water and was an excellent swimmer. In high school, he and his sister both won first place in a lifeguard competition, and he worked as a lifeguard for the Mount Pleasant Recreational Department. He was most recently employed as a supervisor at Pipeline Plastics in South Dakota. Victor had a big heart and many friends. He will be sorely missed by all, especially by his beloved twin sister, Julia, with whom he shared many great adventures. He and his sister were always together and often laughed about coming to the U.S. from Russia. When they first arrived, they were so excited about all the food that they ate everything in sight, even bananas peel and all! Victor is survived by his son, Rylan Long, his sister, Julia Long, his father and mother, Gary and Robin Long, and a host of loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Melanie Long.
