Jeremy Michael Sechser was born April 5, 1980 in Sioux Falls.  He was the son of Jerome and Janet (Wass) Sechser.  At a young age Jeremy moved with his family to Hot Springs.  Later the family moved to Bridgewater, Rosholt,  and in 1996 they moved to Belle Fourche, where Jeremy graduated from high school in 1998.  On June 11, 2005 he was married to Vickie Reid in Sturgis.  To this union, 3 children were born: Seyara, Carston, and Eli.  Following their marriage they lived in Spearfish for a short time before settling in Belle Fourche.  In December of 2013, Jeremy was diagnosed with a tumor on his optic nerve.  Since then Jeremy has continued to be the great husband and father that he’s always been.  He will be missed so very much by his loving family. Jeremy served his community well.  He was vice president of the Belle Fourche P.T.O.; Boy Scout leader; volunteer at North Park School; and a dad who loved to coach his children’s teams in football and baseball.  He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting, and he loved animals.  He had a great heart and an awesome smile.  He would do anything for anyone; he was one of those kinds of men.  Jeremy was a huge Green Bay Packers fan.  He was always wearing something that showed his Packer pride. Jeremy is survived by his wife, Vickie and their children Seyara, Carston, and Eli all of Belle Fourche; father, Jerome (Nicole) Sechser of George, Iowa; mother, Janet Sechser of Belle Fourche; brothers, Jesse (Julie) of Nisland, JR of Belle Fourche; sisters, Jamie (Dennis) Mez of Belle Fourche, Jacquie (Zac) Sechser of Sturgis; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Charles and Mildred Reid of Nisland.
