Douglas W. Lindquist

Douglas W. Lindquist, age 55 of Belle Fourche, died Thursday May 30, 2013 at his home in Belle Fourche. A memorial service will be held 10:30 am Thursday, June 6th, 2013 at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Inurnment will be held at the cemetery in Clinton, Minnesota on June 13th, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Douglas William Lindquist was born March 15, 1958 in Big Stone City, South Dakota. He was the son of Bill and Margie (Hoxtell) Lindquist. Douglas was raised by his grandparents, Ernest and Oleta Lindquist, in Big Stone City. In 1976 he graduated from high school in Ortonville MN. For the past several years, he has lived in Belle Fourche. Douglas is survived by his children, Josh Nelles of Sierra Vista AZ, Jarika Nelles of Meadview AZ, and Savanna Beckman of Sioux Falls SD; and 3 grandchildren, Clayton and Conner Stettler, Eli Gullickson; brother, Steve Lindquist of Phoenix AZ; aunt, Florence (John) Maki of Esco, MN; and his father, Bill Lindquist of Pasco WA. He is also survived by several other family members in the Ortonville, Big Stone, and Clinton areas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Lindquist; paternal grandparents, Ernest and Oleta Lindquist; and maternal grandparents, Wiley and Katie Hoxtell.
