** VIDEO TRIBUTE CAN BE VIEWED BY CLICKING WEBLINK ABOVE ** Charlotte E. Grubl, age 66 of Rapid City, died January 6, 2013 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be held 3pm Friday, January 11th, 2013 at the First Congregational Church of Christ in Belle Fourche, with Pastor Del Neumeister officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials are preferred to the Humane Society. Arrangements are with Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Charlotte was born January 1, 1947 in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. She was the daughter of Harry and Isabelle (Larson) Scheele. Charlotte grew up in Belle Fourche, where she graduated from high school in 1965. She attended Black Hills State University. Charlotte worked as a dental assistant in Belle Fourche and then in the late 1960’s she moved to Rapid City where she continued her career. Charlotte worked in the dental field over 30 years. For the past several years until the present, she has worked at Target in Rapid City. Charlotte enjoyed being around people, her co-workers, and the many friends she made working in the dental field. She also enjoyed traveling, especially the many trips she took with her sister Barbara to China, Africa, and with all her family to Mexico. Holidays with her family all together were some of her happiest times. Charlotte enjoyed her home, her many plants, and cooking and baking for everyone. She loved animals and she shared her life with her many pets. She was an avid supporter of the Humane Society and animal welfare. She loved feeding and watching the birds. She enjoyed biking and walking daily until her health forced her to stop these activities. Charlotte is survived by sisters, Barbara Scheele, Scottsdale, Arizona, and Rita Morris, Buffalo, Wyoming, and one brother Jim (Debbie) Scheele, Belle Fourche, SD; nieces and nephews.
