Danny “Ace” Rose, age 61 of Belle Fourche, died Friday May 25th, 2012 at his home near Belle Fourche. Services will be held 10:30am Friday June 1st, 2012 at Black Hills National Cemetery, with Rev. Paul Howard officiating. Military Rites will be provided by the Belle Fourche Veterans Honor Guard. Funeral arrangements are with Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Danny “Ace” Rose was born January 11, 1951 in Salmon, Idaho. He was the son of Emery and Aria (Johnson) Rose. Danny was the youngest of 16 children. He lived in Calbalt Idaho and then his family moved to Boise Idaho where he attended school. After he finished school, Danny went became a machinist and welder. He then moved to Gillette WY, where he owned and operated his own business, “Ace Enterprises” doing machining and welding. In 1988 he met Jaycee L. Averett and was married on August 4, 1989. They became a family of four with his daughter Danielle Catherine Rose and Goldie April Willoughby. Danny loved to scuba dive, go boating, fishing, hunting, and camping. He loved his animals and loved being a “foster parent” for strays until he could find them a good home. Danny is survived by his daughters Goldie (Dave) Yahnel of Gillette WY, Danielle Forsell of Gillette WY; 4 grandchildren; and 8 brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents.
