Penny Sexton

Pamela “Penny” Sexton, age 52 of Trenton Texas, and formerly Belle Fourche, died unexpectedly from natural causes on Monday February 6, 2012 at the Mercy Hospital in Williston, North Dakota. The funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday February 11th, 2012 at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 pm Friday at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service. Pamela Jean Sexton was born February 22, 1959 in Huron, South Dakota. She was the daughter of Harry and Margaret (Bonebrake) Sexton. Penny grew up in Huron, where she attended school until the 8th grade. Penny loved horses and for several years she broke horses while living in Huron. At the age of 16, she moved to Gillette WY. Penny loved driving truck and spent most of her life driving one. In 1982 she purchased her first truck and began driving in Colony WY and later she drove for Steen’s Feed and Grain for many years. She later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where she continued to drive truck, hauling steel pipe and tube. Penny drove for R & S Trucking of Belle Fourche as well, and in 2005 she moved to Trenton Texas and she became owner and operator of E and J Trucking Inc.. Penny will be remembered for her passion in life and being generous to people that needed help. She loved animals, especially her dogs and her horses. She will be greatly missed. Penny is survived by her partner, Dee Eastwood of Trenton Texas and her daughter, Stephenie Speck and her children, Logan and Victoria of Murphy, Texas; sister, Shirley Curl of Belle Fourche; brothers, John (Del) Sexton of Belle Fourche, Jim Sexton of Huron SD, Harry Sexton Jr. of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ramona Sexton; and nephew, Jason Sexton.
