Billy O. Dennis

Billy Dennis age 67 of Belle Fourche, died Tuesday April 19, 2011 at the Belle Fourche Health Care Center, with his loving wife at his side. The funeral service will be held 10am Monday April 25th, 2011 at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche with Rev. Paul Howard officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle Fourche. Billy Owen Dennis was born July 30 1943 in Belle Fourche. He was the son of Carl and Bertha (Birch) Dennis. Billy attended a country school near Belle Fourche, before moving with his family to Sheridan WY, where he grew up. On May 3, 1985 he was united in marriage to Katherine Haeger in Hulett WY. Following their marriage they lived near Hulett where Billy worked at the Neiman Saw Mill. In 1995 they moved to Spearfish, where Billy worked at the McLaughlin Saw Mill. For the past ten years they have lived in Belle Fourche. Billy will be remembered for his love of food, and how he enjoyed fishing. He will be greatly missed. Billy is survived by his wife, Katherine Dennis of Belle Fourche; children Paul of Iowa, Peggy and Becky, both of Arkansas; brother, Ronald (Carol) of Upton WY; sister, Patty Neel of Sheridan WY; and several grandchildren.
