Larry "Hoss" Klinghagen

Larry “Hoss” Klinghagen, age 62 of Belle Fourche, died Wednesday April 6th, 2011 at his home, with his loving wife by his side. Services will be held 10am Wednesday April 13th, 2011 at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche with Randall Bradley officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Larry Clarence Klinghagen was born October 6, 1948 in Willmar, Minnesota. He was the son of Clarance and Florence (Boike) Klinghagen. Larry grew up in Minnesota and lived in the towns of Willmar, Clara City, and Pennock. He graduated from high school in Raymond. In the mid 1970’s, Larry moved to Belle Fourche where he has lived since. On October 22, 1981, Larry was united in marriage to Christy Farwell, in Belle Fourche SD. Since he was 16 years old, Larry has been a truck driver. He drove for Midwest Coast, the saw mill in Belle Fourche, and for the past seven years he has driven for Western Providers of Sioux Falls. Larry hauled lumber, produce, and livestock and he loved trucking. “Hoss” is survived by his wife, Christy of Belle Fourche; sons, Ronald (Lori) of Foster City, CA, Jason of Texarkana Arkansas, Allen Hagstrom of Tennessee; daughters, Belinda Wielander of Alaska, Tauna (Randy) Norman of Alaska, Jackie Epema of Pennock MN, Jana Bryer of Arkansas; brother, Dean (Linda) Klinghagen of Willmar MN; sisters, Vonnie (Jerry) Hedman of Paynesville MN, Marilyn (Red) Bass of Carmi IL, Darlene (Jim) Gerdes of Willmar MN; and 15 grandchildren. “Hoss” was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda; and twin brothers, Lee and Leon.
